Base radiator REVERS is built on the same principle as standard REGULUS-system products – water system made of copper, heat transfer system fins and aluminium covers. The only significant difference is that at the bottom of the aluminium fins package there is a recess of 100 mm in height and 60 mm in width. At the top of the recess, the fan connection components are installed. The fan is clipped in (or out) of the recess without any tools – fast assembly with magnets. The fan increases the output of the heater by approximately 40%. It is also possible to additionally influence the heating dynamics using a three-speed controller. The fan (or a set of fans depending on the length of the heater) connected to the BASE heater is equipped with its own casing – a perforated cover, fastening elements in the heater’s recess (magnets) and a set of electric connections – cable, socket, plug.
REVERS radiator – description of operation
Revers radiator differ from the standard wall-mounted heaters in that they are equipped with an on/off button on the side panels, as well as with an externally invisible cut-out in the bottom part of the aluminium lamellas pack creating a recess where the fan can be mounted. The fan mounting elements are installed in the heater at the factory. The fan is clipped in (or out) of the recess without any tools – fast assembly with magnets. The 24V fan increases the power of the heater by 40%. It is also possible to additionally influence the heating dynamics using a three-speed controller.
The fan unit can be purchased together with the “R” type heater, or its purchase can be postponed until the future, when the central heating system has a water heater adapted for this option. The only thing you need to remember is to provide electrical installation close to the heater base. Thanks to the fans, if such a need arises, it is possible to significantly increase the heater’s power without the necessity to increase its dimensions, i.e. without the necessity to oversize it, e.g. for low parameters of the heating medium (condensation boilers, heat pumps) or to mount a smaller heater, but REVERS in the absence of space for a heater of appropriate power for the heating needs.
The fan installed at the bottom of the heater is intended to significantly increase its power and make heating more dynamic. The air movement caused by the heater with the fan ensures good distribution of the interior temperature and aids ventilation. The quiet running fan guarantees high comfort of use. The fan heater offers a wide range of options for controlling heat in the building – you can choose between one and three speed control variants.
BASE RADIATORS
- REVERS series are identical both in terms of design and price. REVERS is designed to cooperate with heat pumps (heating and cooling)
- apart from the on/off switch located at the side, they look from the outside like standard SOLLARIUS
- without fans, they heat like standard heaters, i.e. by radiation from the surface and by free convection
- with fans installed, they heat by radiation from the surface and forced convection. For the cooling function, the heaters must be equipped with a fan.
The fan is plugged into a socket suitable for the plug, inserted from the bottom of the radiator into a recess with the fan cover facing downwards. The fan fixes itself to the linearly placed steel plates in the recess with the help of neodymium magnets. When you want to remove the fan from the heater’s recess, pull the fan downwards so that the magnets detach from the plates and remove the plug from the socket. Thanks to this simple solution, both assembly and disassembly of the fans is very easy.
Together with the fan/fan set, the buyer receives a 1.5m-long power cable with a plug for the corresponding socket. The mains connection can be placed in an invisible place e.g. in a free field behind the heater.
COOLING WITH REVERS RADIATORS
In the installation with heat pumps, reversible heaters REGULUS®-system REVERS may be used for cooling. This creates the possibility to operate the central heating system as a central cooling system. Two in one, without the need to incur additional costs and create additional installations such as ventilation systems suitable for cooling.
IN THE CASE OF REVERSIBLE HEATERS, THE FAN IS CONNECTED TO THE BASE HEATER IN THREE SITUATIONS:
1. when we want to increase the power of the heater (power increase of about 40%);
2. when we want to increase the heating dynamics – e.g. rooms used less frequently or for short periods, premises, offices, etc.;
3. when we want to cool a room.

Advantages of the REVERS radiator:
- cooling function in installation with heat pump
- copper-aluminium construction ensures high efficiency at low flow temperatures
- copper and aluminium are characterised by a high heat transfer coefficient (higher than steel and cast iron), heat is emitted even at a small temperature difference (heater and ambient)
- corrugated, very large heat exchange surface, an important feature for heating based on a low temperature of the heating agent – condensation boilers, heat pumps
- low own weight and small water capacity mean high heating dynamics, the heaters quickly reach their full rated power for a given flow temperature
- low thermal inertia enables energy-efficient and easily controllable heating
- Heating of the room takes place in a mixed way:
– by intense, wide-angle heat radiation from the front corrugated surface of the heater
– by convection
Air drawn in from below through the heater’s numerous convection chimneys flows through the heater’s interior, heats up after coming into contact with the surface of the pipes and fins and then flows out at the top through the perforated top casing. This double method of heat emission results in even heating of the air in the entire room.
Heat radiation does not heat the air but the object it falls on. The surface thus heated heats the air that washes over it – this phenomenon is called secondary convection.
REVERS radiators may be used in any type of installation – copper, plastic or traditional steel. They cooperate with electric, gas, oil and solid fuel boilers. They can be connected to steam heating network. They work perfectly with condensing boilers and in systems operated by heat pumps. They can be filled with antifreeze (important for summer houses used periodically).

Swimming pool version
SWIMMING POOL VERSION – these are special versions of wall mounted heaters intended for areas with increased humidity, such as swimming pools, car washes, laundries, conservatories, etc.
Their special resistance results from two features:
*construction – REGULUS®-system wall heaters are made of copper (exchanger) and aluminium (covers, lamellas), i.e. metals extremely resistant to corrosion. Unlike steel heaters, which quickly and easily succumb to destructive corrosion, copper and aluminium, when subjected to the process of oxidation, form oxides which, permanently connected to the non-oxidised material, constitute a tight protective layer for the process to continue deep into the structure of these metals.
*thickened layer of special varnish – an important protection, both against moisture and the impact of chemicals (used in swimming pools and other such facilities), is a durable, thickened layer of polyester-epoxy varnish hardened at high temperature. The mounting elements of the heaters are also made of aluminium profiles coated with facade powder varnish.
WARRANTY: 10 YEARS
POOL DESIGN PRICE = REGULAR PRICE OF THE HEATER – NO SURCHARGE – ATTENTION TEMPORARY PROMOTION
The radiators are symmetrical, their front and back are identical. They are reversible, i.e. they can be installed with an approach (connection) from the left or right side.

Description:
tz – Flow temperature
tp – Return temperature
In the description of the heater parameters tz appears as the first value, tp as the second, and the room temperature as the third, e.g. 55/45/20
To calculate the heating power for non-standard supply parameters, divide the heating power for parameter 75/65/20 by the value read from the correction factor table.
For example, we are looking for the heating power for the S6/60 radiator for the parameter 70/50/20. The power for 75/65/20 is 922 W. In the table of correction factors, we read the coefficient for: tz = 70, tp = 50, room temperature = 20. In the table of correction coefficients read the value of the coefficient for: tz = 70, tp = 50, room temperature = 20. For these parameters the coefficient is: 1,246.
Therefore: 922/1,246 ≈740 W

Siemens room controller RDG 160 T
The RDG room controllers are very versatile. Thanks to their large display and intuitive operation with a rotary knob and large buttons, they are very easy to use and their illuminated display also allows operation in the dark. The desired application can be selected via DIP switches before the unit is installed. The RDG controller uses a two-position P or PI algorithm to control the room temperature.
Typical applications:
- Control in cooled or heated ceilings equipped with electric heaters or radiators, or control of underfloor heating
- Applications for 2-stage heating or cooling
- Additional functions such as remote temperature measurement for circulating air control, operating mode switching for energy saving mode switching, floor temperature limiting, dew point monitoring, etc.

This warranty does not affect any of the consumer’s statutory rights relating to the product type’s incompatibility with the sales agreement.
-
The User’s rights under this warranty may only be exercised via the company, from which the product was purchased. They may be exercised directly at the Manufacturer’s only if the point of sale, in which the product was purchased, has been closed down.
-
This warranty shall be valid from the date of purchase as specified in the purchase document. The User’s rights under this warranty may only be exercised upon production of the purchase document along with the confirmed Warranty Card.
-
If an event covered by the warranty occurs in the warranty period, the complaining User can demand the radiator to be replaced with another one of the same type.
-
The new product shall be given to the User at the place of defect notification within 14 days from the date of notification. On reception of the new product, the User shall return the faulty radiator, unless the event has occurred during the ongoing heating season. In such a case, the faulty radiator shall be returned after the actual replacement.

The Manufacturer’s warranty does not cover the functions and durability built in the thermostatic valves in bottom-fed radiators. These are covered by their manufacturer’s warranties.
ITEMS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY
- Any defects resulting from misuse of the product. Permissible system operating parameters: Water temperature – 110 °C, operating pressure – 1.5 MPa.
- Leakages resulting from incorrect installation of the radiator, the valve air vent or their components, and particularly from defrosting or using wrong sealing materials. Side-fed radiators are fitted with a rotatable half union for front sealing with gaskets.
- Defects and inconveniences resulting from incorrect installation or incorrect plumbing adjustment of the radiator and system water pollution.
- Mechanically damaged products (in particular with traces of impact, scratches, dents, twists – e.g. air vent or pipe sockets) shall not be subject to replacement.
- The warranty shall be void when the User or anyone else modifies or repairs any product of the REGULUS®-system company without authorization.
- The warranty shall be void when the mechanical filter mounted on the power supply of the central heating system, to which the REGULUS®-system radiators are connected, is removed. This particularly refers to a system with steel components.
- The REGULUS®-system company reserves the right to modify its products without prior notice.
ITEMS NOT AFFECTING THE WARRANTY
- Any kind of divisor mounted on the external surface of REGULUS®-system radiators, provided this does not damage the radiator water system.
- REGULUS®-system radiators mounted within open central heating systems.
- Radiators mounted within systems supplied directly by the municipal heat distribution network, not by way of a heat exchanger.
- Periodic emptying of the central heating system, provided the other system components allow for such an operation and the operation will not make the components corrode.
The User receiving the product together with the Warranty Card accepts all the above warranty terms.
- Types of connection

tz – Flow temperature
tp – Return temperatureIn the description of the heater parameters tz appears as the first value, tp as the second, and the room temperature as the third, e.g.
Therefore: 922/1,246 ≈740 W - Accessories
