VERTAGO radiator consists of two systems: water system and heat distribution system.
Water system – is constructed of evenly distributed inside the heater, horizontal, copper heating pipes connected at their ends with vertical, copper collectors. The connection of the heating tubes with the collectors is made by soldering (hard soldering). The heat transfer system – is made of aluminium sheet fins set vertically on the heating pipes of the water system. Appropriately bent front and back edges of the lamellas fit tightly together to form the front and back wall of the radiator. All casing elements are made of aluminium.
The VERTAGO radiator is constructed of two such bodies connected in parallel in a common casing, with a flat top cover.
VERTAGO – special features:
- components made of copper and aluminium
- mixed heat emission: radiation + convection
- unique concept on the market: radiator height 12 cm (+ mounting bracket – 8 cm)
- two radiator bodies coupled in parallel in common housing
- very large wavy heat exchange area – a very important feature in heating based on low temperatures of the heating factors (condensing boilers or heat pumps)
- high efficiency at low delivery temperatures – copper and aluminium have high thermal conductivity (several times higher than steel or cast iron) – heat is emitted even when the difference between the radiator temperature and the ambient one is slight
- low empty weight and low water capacity mean high heating dynamics; the heaters quickly reach their full rated power for a given delivery temperature – low thermal inertia
- low thermal inertia allow for precise, energy-efficient and easily controllable heating – this means effective work in modern controlled central heating systems
- high resistance to variable and high pressure
VERTAGO radiators may be used in any type of installation – copper, plastic or traditional steel. They cooperate with electric, gas, oil and solid fuel boilers. They can be connected to steam heating network. They work perfectly with condensing boilers and in systems operated by heat pumps. They can be filled with antifreeze (important for summer houses used periodically).
VERTAGO radiators are used in:
- one-family and multi-family buildings – where heat can be supplied by the municipal heat distribution network
- low-energy houses – the radiators can be included in any configuration of the central heating system
- frame and wooden houses – very light radiators mean easy transport and installation, even on gypsum walls
- resort houses and bungalows – the radiators can be filled in with an antifreezing agent
buildings with old type systems – 50 mm spacing (as in traditional fins and panels) is available
civic buildings and offices - educational buildings and social care centres – low surface temperature
- sacred buildings – active air mixing, even temperature distribution, moisture removal
- sports facilities, gyms, SPAs – low heaters (12 cm) on legs (8 cm) to be installed along large glazed areas, under benches, stands, etc.
- cultural buildings, banks, tourist, trade and catering establishments
- storehouses and large buildings, industrial buildings – temperature can be temporarily lowered and some areas can even be excluded with an option to be quickly re-included in the heating programme
- facilities with high moisture of air, swimming pools, car washes, winter garden, vessels as well as in the port infrastructure – high resistance to corrosion
Height: 120-390 mm
Lenght: 400-2000 mm for height 120 and 210 mm; 400-1400 for height 300-390 mm
Width: 180 mm
Connections:
side – GW 1/2 ” (Female thread)
bottom – GW 1/2 ” (Male thread, Spacing 50 mm)
Operating pressure: 1,5 MPa
Operating temperature: up to +110°С
Water capacity: 0,24-2,38 dm³
Weight: 1,6 – 22,6 kg
Advantages of VERTAGO radiator:
- copper-aluminium construction ensures high efficiency at low flow temperatures
- copper and aluminium are characterised by a high heat transfer coefficient (higher than steel and cast iron), heat is emitted even at a small temperature difference (heater and ambient)
- corrugated, very large heat exchange surface, an important feature for heating based on a low temperature of the heating agent – condensation boilers, heat pumps
- low own weight and small water capacity mean high heating dynamics, the heaters quickly reach their full rated power for a given flow temperature
- low thermal inertia enables energy-efficient and easily controllable heating
- Heating of the room takes place in a mixed way:
– by intense, wide-angle heat radiation from the front corrugated surface of the heater
– by convection
Air drawn in from below through the heater’s numerous convection chimneys flows through the heater’s interior, heats up after coming into contact with the surface of the pipes and fins and then flows out at the top through the perforated top casing. This double method of heat emission results in even heating of the air in the entire room.

Swimming pool version
SWIMMING POOL VERSION – these are special versions of wall mounted heaters intended for areas with increased humidity, such as swimming pools, car washes, laundries, conservatories, etc.
Their special resistance results from two features:
*construction – REGULUS®-system wall heaters are made of copper (exchanger) and aluminium (covers, lamellas), i.e. metals extremely resistant to corrosion. Unlike steel heaters, which quickly and easily succumb to destructive corrosion, copper and aluminium, when subjected to the process of oxidation, form oxides which, permanently connected to the non-oxidised material, constitute a tight protective layer for the process to continue deep into the structure of these metals.
*thickened layer of special varnish – an important protection, both against moisture and the impact of chemicals (used in swimming pools and other such facilities), is a durable, thickened layer of polyester-epoxy varnish hardened at high temperature. The mounting elements of the heaters are also made of aluminium profiles coated with facade powder varnish.

Description:
tz – Flow temperature
tp – Return temperature
In the description of the heater parameters tz appears as the first value, tp as the second, and the room temperature as the third, e.g. 55/45/20
To calculate the heating power for non-standard supply parameters, divide the heating power for parameter 75/65/20 by the value read from the correction factor table.
For example, we are looking for the heating power for the S6/60 radiator for the parameter 70/50/20. The power for 75/65/20 is 922 W. In the table of correction factors, we read the coefficient for: tz = 70, tp = 50, room temperature = 20. In the table of correction coefficients read the value of the coefficient for: tz = 70, tp = 50, room temperature = 20. For these parameters the coefficient is: 1,246.
Therefore: 922/1,246 ≈740 W

tz – Flow temperature
tp – Return temperatureIn the description of the heater parameters tz appears as the first value, tp as the second, and the room temperature as the third, e.g.
Therefore: 922/1,246 ≈740 W - Accessories included
