REGULUS-system S-CORNER radiator is two SOLLARIUS radiators connected at the angle of 90º. The corner heater is constructed exactly like the SOLLARIUS wall mounted heater. It consists of two systems: the water system and the heat transfer system.
Water system – is constructed of evenly distributed inside the heater, horizontal, copper heating pipes connected at their ends with vertical, copper collectors. The connection of the heating tubes with the collectors is made by soldering (hard soldering).
The heat transfer system – is made of aluminium sheet fins set vertically on the heating pipes of the water system. Appropriately bent front and back edges of the lamellas fit tightly together to form the front and back wall of the heater. All casing elements are made of aluminium.
Connection of copper and aluminium is a dry connection, therefore there is no electrochemical phenomenon in it.
The radiator’s arms may be of different lengths. The total length of the arms cannot exceed 200 cm. A double corner heater is available on request – for bay windows.
S-CORNER radiators may be used in any type of installation – copper, plastic or traditional steel. They cooperate with electric, gas, oil and solid fuel boilers. They can be connected to steam heating network. They work perfectly with condensing boilers and in systems operated by heat pumps. They can be filled with antifreeze (important for summer houses used periodically).
Floor standing radiator S-CORNER – special features
- Copper-aluminium
- mixed method of heat emission: radiation + convection
- a wide selection of lengths and heights, the radiator’s arms can be of different lengths, the total length of the arms may not exceed 200 cm
- corrugated, very large heat exchange surface, an important feature for heating based on a low temperature of the heating agent – condensation boilers, heat pumps
- high efficiency at low flow temperatures – copper and aluminium are characterised by a high heat transfer coefficient (higher than steel and cast iron), heat is emitted even at a small temperature difference (heater and ambient)
- low weight and low water capacity mean high heating dynamics, the heaters quickly reach their full rated power for a given flow temperature – low thermal inertia
- low thermal inertia enables energy-efficient and easily controllable heating, it means effective operation in modern, controlled central heating systems
- high resistance to changeable and high pressure
S-CORNER radiators are ideal for:
- single and multi-family buildings – possibility to be supplied from the municipal network
- energy-saving houses – possibility of using in every configuration of central heating system
- frame and wooden houses – very light heaters mean easy transport and installation, even on plasterboard walls
- buildings with older installations – available spacing of 50 mm (as in traditional ribs and panels), mounted in the corner of the room heats the angle between two external walls, thus protecting against condensation in the corner
- holiday homes – the heaters can be filled with antifreeze
- buildings with older installations – available spacing 50 mm (as for traditional ribs and panels)
- public utilities, offices and authorities
- educational, teaching and childcare buildings – low contact temperature
- sacral buildings – active air mixing, uniform temperature distribution, humidity removal
- sports facilities, gyms, spa-type facilities – thanks to the mounting on legs the heater can be installed in corner windows
- warehouses and large buildings, industrial buildings – the possibility of temporary temperature reduction and even switching off some zones with the option of quick activation
- facilities with increased humidity, swimming pools, car washes, winter gardens, vessels and port infrastructure
- high resistance to corrosion

Advantages of S-CORNER radiator:
- copper-aluminium construction ensures high efficiency at low flow temperatures
- copper and aluminium are characterised by a high heat transfer coefficient (higher than steel and cast iron), heat is emitted even at a small temperature difference (heater and ambient)
- corrugated, very large heat exchange surface, an important feature for heating based on a low temperature of the heating agent – condensation boilers, heat pumps
- low own weight and small water capacity mean high heating dynamics, the heaters quickly reach their full rated power for a given flow temperature
- low thermal inertia enables energy-efficient and easily controllable heating
- Heating of the room takes place in a mixed way:
– by intense, wide-angle heat radiation from the front corrugated surface of the heater
– by convection
Air drawn in from below through the heater’s numerous convection chimneys flows through the heater’s interior, heats up after coming into contact with the surface of the pipes and fins and then flows out at the top through the perforated top casing. This double method of heat emission results in even heating of the air in the entire room.

Swimming pool version
SWIMMING POOL VERSION – these are special versions of wall mounted heaters intended for areas with increased humidity, such as swimming pools, car washes, laundries, conservatories, etc.
Their special resistance results from two features:
*construction – REGULUS®-system wall heaters are made of copper (exchanger) and aluminium (covers, lamellas), i.e. metals extremely resistant to corrosion. Unlike steel heaters, which quickly and easily succumb to destructive corrosion, copper and aluminium, when subjected to the process of oxidation, form oxides which, permanently connected to the non-oxidised material, constitute a tight protective layer for the process to continue deep into the structure of these metals.
*thickened layer of special varnish – an important protection, both against moisture and the impact of chemicals (used in swimming pools and other such facilities), is a durable, thickened layer of polyester-epoxy varnish hardened at high temperature. The mounting elements of the heaters are also made of aluminium profiles coated with facade powder varnish.

Description:
tz – Flow temperature
tp – Return temperature
In the description of the heater parameters tz appears as the first value, tp as the second, and the room temperature as the third, e.g. 55/45/20
To calculate the heating power for non-standard supply parameters, divide the heating power for parameter 75/65/20 by the value read from the correction factor table.
For example, we are looking for the heating power for the S6/60 radiator for the parameter 70/50/20. The power for 75/65/20 is 922 W. In the table of correction factors, we read the coefficient for: tz = 70, tp = 50, room temperature = 20. In the table of correction coefficients read the value of the coefficient for: tz = 70, tp = 50, room temperature = 20. For these parameters the coefficient is: 1,246.
Therefore: 922/1,246 ≈740 W

tz – Flow temperature
tp – Return temperatureIn the description of the heater parameters tz appears as the first value, tp as the second, and the room temperature as the third, e.g.
Therefore: 922/1,246 ≈740 W- Accessories included
